Constanza Martinez is the Sustainability Project Manager at the Energy Systems Laboratory, and assists the team in developing and performing sustainability research and tracking the implementation and performance of energy management initiatives and Continuous Commissioning® processes.
Ms. Martinez is part of ESL’s Energy and Sustainability Management Group, where she works with project partners to evaluate current sustainability practices, perform financial analysis, recommend sustainability initiatives, and develop implementation plans and policies. She also provides assistance with recycling programs, green funds, sustainable transportation systems, green purchasing and outreach strategies, and serves as the liaison for energy efficiency certifications and sustainability reporting systems for the Alamo Colleges District. Ms. Martinez is also responsible for the preparation of project specifications, requirements, budgets, and reviews the work of other research staff members.
Before joining the ESL, she was a 2016 EDF Climate Corp Fellow working for the Alamo Colleges District in San Antonio, TX. Ms. Martinez has a background in business and finance and a MS in Sustainability Management from American University in Washington, DC.
