Continuous Commissioning®
Developed, trademarked, and licensed by ESL-TEES, the Continuous Commissioning® (CC®) process has delivered hundreds of millions of dollars in savings since the mid-1990s. The CC® process is recognized as the gold standard for optimizing comfort and energy performance in existing buildings.
Texas Emissions Reduction Plan
ESL is Texas’ legislatively designated expert for building energy codes and emissions reductions under the Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP). Since 2001, ESL has helped the state achieve more than $10 billion in residential energy savings and is one of only two U.S. EPA-designated National Centers of Excellence on Displaced Emissions Reduction (CEDER).
Indoor Environments Lab
An ISO 17025 Quality Laboratory, the ESL Indoor Environments Lab is a certified testing facility for Energy Star, the Home Ventilating Institute, and the California Energy Commission. We have provided over 75 years of testing and research for the HVAC industry, helping commercial, industrial and governmental clients.
Texas A&M Industrial Training and Assessment Center
A U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) funded center since 1977, and recipient of the DOE’s 2017 Center of Excellence Award, the Industrial Training and Assessment Center (ITAC) is committed to helping manufacturers optimize energy efficiency, minimize waste, and enhance productivity.
Texas A&M Building Performance Assessment Center
The Building Performance Assessment Center (BPAC) at Texas A&M University provides free energy assessments for small and medium commercial buildings less than 100,000 square feet, benefiting building owners by identifying cost-saving opportunities. The program delivers customized recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall building performance.
Texas A&M Smart and Connected Homes Testbed
The Texas A&M Smart and Connected Homes Testbed (TAM-SCHT) is located on the RELLIS campus in Bryan, Texas, United States. This testbed is used by the Building Energy and HVAC&R research group at Texas A&M University for smart home technology and smart grid applications research.

The Building Performance Analytics (BPA) group supports the evaluation and optimization of building performance through technical analysis, energy modeling, performance benchmarking, and data-driven decision-making. By combining engineering expertise with analytical tools, BPA helps organizations better understand how buildings operate and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and performance.
